Staff Training

Internal Advertisement:

Nonprofits, like any other organization, need staff to possess the skills necessary for simple and complex use of typical office applications and the Internet.  INDEX staff provide this training to our clients at their locations, or in a classroom setting provided by INDEX.  Examples:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • anything staff want to know about using these applications, we can teach
  • Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2K/XP
    • managing files & folders; adding & removing software, navigating networks, etc.
  • Finding Information on the Web
    • Want to obtain a dozen, relevant search results rather than hundreds of iffy ones?
    • For writing grants, learn how to find and to analyze detailed statistics relevant to nonprofits, populations, etc.
    • Learn about resources available to nonprofits like info on grant writing, funding sources, management, etc.
  • Creating Web pages using HTML and CSS
    • Develop pages with graphics, hyperlinks, buttons, tables, interactive features, etc.  It's easy!
  • E-mail
  • FTP
    • transferring files to and from a Web server, accessing accounts, etc.
